Quick Start

1. Upload a video or use your webcam

5. Turn on Audio Sync — pick a target

2. Browse and apply effects (Create tab)

6. Enable per-effect sync on each effect

3. Load audio (file, mic, or video audio)

7. Use the timeline for timed changes

4. Try a tracking mode (Track tab)

8. Record your creation (Shift+R)

Features

Effects — 68 effects across Color, Distortion, Pattern, and Overlay categories. Click to apply, eye to toggle, trash to remove.

Audio Sync — The heart of H.O.D. Connect sound to almost everything. Global sync targets + per-effect parameter mapping. Look for the ♫ badge.

Tracking — Color, Analysis, and AI detection families. 19 modes including AI Mask, Face, Eyes, Lips, and Background Subtraction.

Region FX — Apply GPU effects (blur, thermal, glitch, etc.) directly to tracked blobs.

Overlays — Drag a video or image onto the canvas. 12 blend modes, opacity control, cover/contain/stretch fit.

Layers — Manage active effects with eye toggles, opacity, and blend modes. Scene layer controls video/effects/blobs.

Presets — Curated effect combos. Save your own custom presets to revisit later.

Timeline — Sequence tracking modes, effects, and audio sync over time. Drag to add, edges to trim.

Click the note indicator to type a start time
